Will Curry is a NYC based multi-instrumentalist, composer, improviser, & photographer. Originally from Chicago, IL, Will went on to study at Oberlin College & Conservatory, where he was a student of Gary Bartz, graduating with degrees in Jazz Saxophone Performance and Cinema Studies in 2022.
Since moving to NYC, Will has performed regularly as a saxophonist and as a clarinetist/keyboardist in the alternative folk trio, Early Worm, of which he is a founding member. He also works regularly as a session musician with artists such as Califone on their acclaimed 2023 album, Villagers.
Will, along with Henry Nelson, composed original scores for the feature films, Asleep In My Palm (2023), which premiered at the 2023 Woodstock Film Festival, and Bang Bang (2024), which premiered at the 2024 Tribeca Film Festival. Most recently, the pair composed original score and sound design for the Juilliard production of the stage play, And Then We Were No More, written by Tim Blake-Nelson and directed by Mark Wing-Davey.
In addition to his work as a musician, Will is a co-founder of the production company, Probable Voltages, Inc., where he also works as a cinematographer. Probable Voltages has produced music videos for artists such as Billy Woods & Kenny Segal, Armand Hammer, Colt Ford, Damon Smith, and Camille Schmidt.
